Packers vs. Seahawks Match Preview & Betting Odds 2018/19Published November 12, 2018
Everyone is going to be looking to see what Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson will do in this game, but they are not going to have the biggest impact on the game. That honour goes to Packers running back Aaron Jones and whoever Seattle lines up at the position.
The Seahawks have been one of the better running teams in the NFL this season (6th—137.1 yards/game). Injuries have forced them to use whoever is healthy, but the run game has been working no matter who starts.

Chris Carson has had three 100+ yard games but had to miss last week with an injury. That didn’t stop the team from running for 273 yards.
So, it is not hard to imagine both teams leaning on the run game a little; this is especially true since neither is great at stopping the run (Seattle—17th; Green Bay—20th).
But for Green Bay, their strength is still the passing game. Aaron Rodgers has been as effective as ever and doesn’t make mistakes (15 touchdowns to one interception).
Spread: Seahawks by 2
This is going to be a close game between two teams that match up really well against each other on paper. But in the end, Green Bay will either win straight up or against the spread.
Between these two teams, it is not hard to imagine a lot of points being scored. But the defences will keep too many from getting scored. Take the under.
Money line: Packers +123; Seahawks -145
On paper, Seattle should win this one. But, instead, look for Rodgers to teach Seattle’s young secondary a few lessons. Take the Packers to win.
