Vikings vs. Bears Match Preview & Betting Odds 2018/19Published November 13, 2018
Both teams will come into this game hoping to establish the run so that they can keep the other’s offence on the bench. But they will find that to be easier said than done. Chicago has struggled to run the ball all season and will not find it any easier against the Vikings No. 3 run defence.
The Vikings have done a better job of running the ball lately and will have Dalvin Cook back. But the Bears have been even tougher against the run than the Vikings (Bears have the No. 2 run defence).
If it comes down to the passing games, the edge would have to be with the Vikings. Kirk Cousins is a veteran quarterback that has faced tough defences in the past. Mitchell Trubisky has shown a ton of promise this season, but still has a lot to learn.
The Bears have some promising young receivers, but the Vikings have a veteran tandem in Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. But the Bears defence is pretty tough against the pass as well (13th; allow three yards a game more than the Vikings).

Spread: Bears by 3
This is going to be a very tough game between two evenly matched teams looking to prove themselves. Don’t expect the Bears to cover the spread.
There is offensive potential on the field for this one, but the defences are going to keep them in check. Don’t expect a lot of scoring. Take the under.
Money line: Vikings +125; Bears -144.93
This one could go either way. In the end, the winner will be the team that makes the fewest mistakes. Take the Bears to win.
